I'm so happy that you have stopped by to see what I have been up to and to check out my photos! I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them. I love my clients and I really enjoy getting to know them~ who they are, what they are about and what they enjoy. Photography should be about you and your photos should reflect your personality- not mine! Although, I do like to have fun and think that your shoot should be a blast as well.
I take time with each shot as I take it and as I edit I do the same keeping you in mind the whole time knowing you are going to love the end product. I hope that you will consider me for your next photography moment~ let's share it together!

Bill & Tess ~Engagement 1-24-14

Bill and Tess picked a cold one for their engagement photos but we toughed it out!  They were champions LOL.  We had fun even though by the end we couldn’t feel our fingers or toes.  They chose Duquesne University as their first location because that is where they met. Bill was in law school and Tess was an under-grad student.  I loved hearing how Tess approached him and the rest is history!  He proposed to her there and their wedding is in August at the chapel on campus.  I love to hear people’s love stories.  I’m a romantic at heart I guess. We took lots of photos on campus and headed downtown to the courthouse to to take some shots.  Since Bill is a lawyer and Tess also works within the legal system it was the perfect place to get some photos of the two of them~ and to have a snow ball battle!  I had a great time with them as they are a great couple and very funny.  I can’t wait till their summer wedding.  At least we will be warm!  Happy birthday, Bill!  (He shared with me that it was his BD weekend as well).  I had a great time with you guys, I hardly minded the single digits.  Enjoy the photos everyone- I think they are pretty special.

McKenna’s 1st Birthday

There’s nothing like a Princess’ first birthday.  McKenna is turning 1 next week and she sure is a princess.  We had a first birthday photography session and added a little Valentine’s day flair.  We asked big brother Micah who will be four in a few months to join in. We had a great time dressing her up complete with a mirror and tutu.  She loved her props and did a good job for a one year old!  Micah was a cutie pie and really likes hockey.  Go Penguins!  I hope you enjoy these adorable children as much as I enjoyed photographing them.  Happy early Valentine’s day and I hope you find your inner princess… I know i did!

There isn’t anything better than having the privilege of being part of a true love story.  I had the honor of photographing Chris and Carrie’s wedding last year and today I was asked to photograph their newborn son, Carson.  How excited was I!  First of all, to be asked back into their lives to capture memories is special to me and I love babies!  We had so much fun with him.  We took holiday pictures and captured his little body parts.  I  loved every minute of it.   I hope you enjoy these special pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.  What a precious angel.  Thanks Carrie and Chris for letting me be a part of your special moments!  Congratulations on the birth of your early Christmas present.

Photographing babies might be my favorite thing to do next to weddings.  When I get to photograph my baby niece, I’m in bliss!  I had the opportunity to take my baby niece and my nephew’s portraits this weekend.  What cutie pies.  Gianna makes so many faces and Caleb sure loves his cousin.  Throw in a few more cousins and we had a party!  I had a hard time choosing photos for the blog and had to stop as the blog got a little lengthly!  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.  Merry Christmas!

Emily & Nick

I have been enjoying myself immensely lately with portraiture.  But it is always a great pleasure to photograph friends! It was a joy to photograph my childhood friend’s kids last weekend.  Dana and I have been friends since I can ever remember having a friend.  So, when she asked me to take her children’s portraits, I was honored.  Emily is so gorgeous and Nick’s smile is infectious.  He posed like a male model!  They were simply naturals.  It was great catching up with my friend as well!
